French Cheese & Charcuterie Box

We’ve chosen some of our favourite French cheeses and perfect cheese board accompaniments for our French Cheese & Charcuterie Box. A treat for the family, a centre piece when entertaining or a thoughtful gift for a cheese lover, this box is ideal for all occasions.

Cheeses

Camembert (125g) – The Royal Camembert is a soft, creamy and delicate flavoured cheese. It is produced in the mountains of eastern France, where green, grassy pastures in rolling valleys are covered, in winter, by a mantle of the whitest snow.

Comté (200g) – Produced in the Jura Massif region of Eastern France from raw cow’s milk. This hard mountain cheese is matured to perfection in the silence and darkness of special caves where the cheese gets its unique taste, texture and colour.

Charcuterie

Saucisson Aux Truffle (200g) – Produced from the finest cuts of pork from the Rhône Alpes region

Bayonne Ham (200g) – Cured ham from the ancient city of Bayonne in the southwest of France

Accompaniments

Seeded crackers – Wholemeal crackers with linseeds, sesame seeds and poppy seeds
Confit de Mirabelles au Riesling – Confit of Mirabelle plums with Riesling

To Serve 

Let your cheeses come to room temperature for the best taste. Serve on a cheese board alongside the confit and crackers. 

Finely slice the saucisson (you can eat the rind, if you wish), lay out the Bayonne ham, and serve. 

Enjoy with your choice of French wine.
