Total cooking time: 20 minutes – For best results oven cook. 

Please note that all ovens are different. These are the recommended cooking instructions but please make sure that all food is piping hot before serving. 

  1.  Pre-heat your oven to Fan 180°C / electric 200°C / gas mark 6. 
  2. Remove the sausages from the bag and place gently, with a knife, criss-cross one side of the sausages and place them on a baking tray and put in the centre of the oven for 10 minutes.  
  3. Remove the film from the mash potatoes, decant into a microwavable container and heat on full power for 2 minutes 30 seconds (900w), 3 minutes (800w) or 3 minutes 30 seconds (700w). Mix halfway through cooking. 
  4. Whilst the sausages and mash potatoes are cooking, decant the thyme jus and caramelised onion & thyme jus into a saucepan and gently heat until it bubbles, stirring occasionally. Alternatively, decant into a microwavable container and heat on full power for 1.5 minute (900w), 2 minutes (800w) or 2.5 minutes (700w) Alternatively, decant into a saucepan and gently heat until it’s hot, constantly mixing. 
  5. Remove everything from the oven and rest for 3-5 minutes. 
  6. Place the mustard mash in a serving plate, followed by your sausages and pour the thyme jus on top before serving.
