Mushroom tart made with Portobello, Chestnut, Flat, Oyster, Shiitake and Black Trumpette mushrooms,  with chestnuts and grilled shallots.

Mushroom Tart

For best results oven cook

Fan oven at 180oC / electric oven at 200oC / gas mark 6

Pre-heat the oven. Remove all the outer packaging, excluding aluminium container. Put the mushroom gravy to one side. Place the tart onto a baking tray and into the oven for 20 minutes.

Warning: The product will be hot, so please take care when removing from the oven. Do not re-heat. Leave to stand for 1-2 minutes before serving.

When the 20 minutes is nearly done, place the mushroom gravy into a microwaveable container. Heat on full power (750w – 2 minutes/ 850w – 1 min 30 sec/ 1000w – 1 minute). Stir halfway through the cooking time. Mix well and allow to stand for 1 minute. Alternatively, decant the contents into a small saucepan and warm on a low heat, stirring occasionally. Once it begins to bubble, the sauce is ready to serve.

Warning: The product will be hot, so please take care when removing from the microwave. Ensure product is hot throughout. Do not re-heat more than once.

Place the mushroom tart on a serving plate and garnish with the salad. Serve with the mushroom gravy.
